FN 15 Guardian Review 🤍 Why would you buy the cheaper AR over the more expensive one? We're comparing the FN 15 Guardian and the Tac3, and trust me, there are some interesting differences. First up, weight matters to me, and the Guardian 15 comes out on top at 6.6 lbs, just a hair lighter than the Tac3 at 7 lbs. Every ounce counts, right? Next, the rail length on the Guardian 15 is slightly longer, which I prefer for a cleaner look. Just like I prefer no-show socks with shorts, I like a no-show barrel! One key area is the charging handle. The Tac3 sports a fancy FN branded radian charging handle, while the Guardian keeps it standard mil-spec. A top-tier charging handle can be a game-changer, but hey, it's easy to swap out! Shooting-wise, both rifles perform amazingly, and the triggers are identical. It's just baffling that I can run the Guardian's mil-spec trigger like a pro! But the real deal difference is the barrel. The Tac3 has a government profile chrome-lined barrel, ensuring a longer lifespan, while the Guardian 15 boasts a nitride-coated barrel, which could mean a slight accuracy advantage. This is a Motormouth couple car first look at the all-new Volvo EX30 subcompact electric suv. Introducing the all-new Volvo EX30, it’s the smallest SUV in the Volvo fleet and will be built in China. This expands Volvo’s electric vehicle portfolio to four models. The Volvo EX30 has a 69 kWh battery with two powertrain options, for maximum range go with the RWD model with up to 442 km/ 275 miles. It has 268 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. The AWD model with 422 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque will take drivers from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and 0-60 in 3.4 seconds which makes it the fastest accelerating Volvo car ever. The Volvo EX30 gets up to 426 km/265 miles of range. The EX30 has a heat pump and it can tow close to 2,000 pounds. It has a clean look and is designed to have the smallest CO2 footprint of any Volvo car to date. The Volvo EX30 EV has a Scandinavian design with a long wheelbase, large wheels and equal front and rear overhangs giving it a balanced look. The headlights are an evolution of the Thor’s Hammer design that Volvo first premiered on the second generation XC90 back in 2015. The Volvo EX30 has five exterior colour options are available including, Cloud Blue and Moss Yellow. The 12.3” touchscreen with google built-in is your combined driver and centre display. There is no instrument cluster in this model similar to Tesla. Volvo says the touchscreen is designed to deliver high-definition visuals with minimal glare and reflections. Since everything is done in the screen, Volvo has provided smart shortcuts and you can individualize your settings. The Volvo EX30 has been priced to make it a more affordable premium option. I had a chance recently to see my very first electric tractor. This is not a concept or prototype, this was a working electric compact tractor with a front end loader for sale at a dealership. It's called a Solectrac and it's a product that would appear to appeal to at least a portion of my viewers and maybe more than I would have predicted. So, this video will function as a forum to gauge your interest in such a product. I've been watching Solectrac grow as a company, from a concept, to prototypes, to starting a dealer network. I honestly didn't expect to see their product on dealer's lots, but on a trip to Brim Tractor in Washington and Oregon, there they were. I didn't have a great deal of time to study them, but I'm very intrigued by the concept. If you travel to the Pacific Northwest, you'll notice a growing percentage of cars on the road are electric-powered. Where I live, a Tesla is a bit of an anomaly, but traveling on the coastal areas, I'd estimate that about 1 out of 25-30 cars you meet is a Tesla. Part of that is because they're "trendy", and there seems to be no shortage of disposable income in that part of the world, but high fuel prices and environmental concerns are also driving the trend. I wondered, would the folks who are buying Teslas also be candidates for electric tractors? So, I thought I'd ask and see what viewer response is. Would you buy and electric tractor? Feel free to put your answer in the comments I'm also curious about autonomy. It's my opinion that we're close to a point where you won't need to ride a mower to cut your yard or pasture. There are already GPS controlled robotic lawn mowers on the market, could a similar rough cut "Bush Hog"-type product be far behind? If a product like that were available, would you be interested? Or do you enjoy the tractor seat time? Personally, I'd not be opposed to buying an electric tractor, especially with diesel prices where they are, if I were shopping. I'd want to know that it had longevity and could do all of the lifting jobs that my tractor does. I have a tractor that's paid for, though, so I'm not likely to ever be a prospect for an electric tractor. At my age, the tractor I have should last until the kids sell it an my estate sale when I'm 6 feet under. If I could get out of riding the tractor around with the bush hog on the back I'd be all in. Anything to get out of the dust and the hornets while I'm able to accomplish something else seems really attractive. I'm not sure I'm ready to trade my zero-turn on a robotic mower, but if they keep getting better and cheaper, that could all change.
